Reality

I have lived a stark enough reality to see through the lies and the veils,
One no longer falls for the false realities, frivolities, or formalities,
Because ones eyes open wide when they are pierced with pain,
When You’ve felt the helplessness of homelessness,
When You’ve exhausted every resource,
When You’ve felt the pangs of hunger,
When You’ve been sick with no doctor,
When You’ve been denied education,
When You’ve been used and reused,
Every cry for help ignored, refused,
Had a gun pointed at your temple,
Become just another blank target,
In the elitist preoccupying game,
It becomes all about survival,
You finally see what’s real,
It’s not at all complicated,
Just Love and Care
for one another.
